In the late 1990s, during the national disco revival, many of the best musicians in the Flint, Michigan underground music scene recorded this stellar collection of 1970s disco covers.
With the legendary Jim Fourniadis (Rats Of Unusual Size) behind the controls, these tracks were recorded and mixed to everyone's satisfaction but then sat on the shelf for 10 years.
The transcendental understanding of what "punk" music is in the Flint underground music scene, comes alive in these tracks. As a result, this may be one of the only disco compilations of its kind.
